On Wednesday, April 13, at 5pm, the Coliseu Porto Ageas invites you to the conversation “AI, Performing Arts & Identity – Gender, Ethics and Representation in the Digital World of Arts”. Conversation included in the Mantras do Coliseu, in partnership with DDD – Festival Days of Dance and PREMIERE project.
The meeting point of gender, ethics, and digital arts reveals itself as fertile territory – both promising and problematic. While, on the one hand, AI and digital tools have the potential to amplify marginalized voices, on the other, they can also reproduce and reinforce the gender inequalities enshrined in the technological systems themselves, promising more fair and plural forms of representation.
How are Artificial Intelligence and technology influencing the way identity is artistically represented?
Who has the opportunity to create? Who is represented?
The conversation brings together artists and experts to discuss how to combat gender stereotypes and promote a more ethical and inclusive digital representation: Catarina Miranda, Elioa Steffen, John Peter Fonseca, Justin Talplacido Soulder.

Admission is free.
Conversation in EN with simultaneous translation in PT.
