Athena Research Center

The “Athena” Research Center in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies was founded in 2003, taking under its umbrella three existing institutes (established as far back as 1991). It is based in Athens, with its Institutes located in Athens, Patras and Xanthi. It also incubates two research units and one unit that pioneers in technological cluster formation. The Institute of Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) is one of Athena’s research institutes.

Forum Dança – Associaçao Cultural

Forum Dança is a non-profit cultural association created in 1990, with the mission of promoting contemporary dance through professional and artistic training and research, publishing, and documentation.
Forum is a meeting platform for professionals and the public. It develops pedagogical projects, seminars, artistic residencies, informal presentations, workshops, and regular classes directed to professional and amateur audiences, adults, and youth.

CYENS – Centre of Excellence

CYENS Centre of Excellence (formerly known as RISE) is the Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence in Cyprus focusing on Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies aiming to empower knowledge and technology transfer in the region. It is a joint venture between the three public universities of Cyprus – University of Cyprus, Cyprus University of Technology, and, Open University of Cyprus- , the Municipality of Nicosia, and two renowned international partners, the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Germany, and, the University College London, United Kingdom.

Amsterdam University of the Arts

The Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) trains students for the national and international world of art, culture and heritage. IDlab (Interdisciplinary Digital Laboratory) offers a place for the latest developments in digital technology at the Academy of Theatre and Dance and, by extension, in the performing arts of the 21st century. It brings innovation and experimentation into the heart of the academy. We are a laboratory for experimenting with digital developments and techniques such as video mapping, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (XR), game technology, and 360 video and audio.

Argo Theater

ARGO Artistic Company was founded in 1994 with Emilia Ypsilanti as its Artistic Director. It is a civil non-profit company and the Board of Directors and General Assembly, consist of ten persons, mostly artists; five actors, two directors, a choreographer, a screenwriter and a University professor.
ARGO has a continuous theatrical activity as of 1994, with performances based on plays from the Greek and World repertoire, emphasising on women’s issues.
Since 2002, the Company is housed in the ARGO theatre, where it presents every year the main stage performance, which is produced by the Company. In parallel it collaborates with other theatrical groups, co-producing performances for the two secondary stages of the theatre.
ARGO has staged plays for children and has organized various actions for immigrant children, most importantly a Festival with children’s plays from the State Theatre of Albania.
Under the theme of poetry and music ARGO has presented its own productions in the ARGO stages and at Festival events as well.
ARGO has to its credit three co-productions with Municipal Theatrical Companies (DIPETHE) and has organized tours in Greece and abroad (Germany, Belgium). In Belgium ARGO organized together with the University of Athens and U.L.B. a conference on the subject of myth of Helen of Troy, on the occasion of the presentation of the performance “In the name of Eleni” in Brussels.
Many productions of the ARGO Artistic Company have been subsidized by the Ministry of Culture.
ARGO has always had the declared goal to ensure the appropriate conditions for the presentation of performances with the best possible artistic result, which, however, always respond to the social demands of each era.

Medidata.Net, SA. uses VR, AR and XR technologies and software tools for developing creative and innovative products. As a result, VirtualSign a product using a 3D Avatar for Sign Language has been developed using Unity and Unreal engines, for using a 3d Avatar as a Virtual Sign language interpreter, this product is a Spin-Off supported by Medidata High Tech software development team.
Medidata.Net, SA. develops XR App’s and Web/Mobile App’s across multiple devices (VR/AR and Web devices, from computers to mobile and headset devices), for multiple business areas.
Medidata.Net, S.A creates E-leaning courses for the ERP/App’s allowing for the training and certification of the users and professionals on Medidata software tools.

FITEI – Festival Internacional de Teatro de Expressão Ibérica

In 1978, the FITEI – International Festival of Iberian Expression Theater was created in Porto. From this date on, it will be through FITEI that shows from Portugal, Spain and the countries of Latin America and PALOPs that make up the universe of Iberian expression are regularly presented in the country. Currently, FITEI is the oldest theater festival in the country without interruptions and the second oldest in the universe of Iberian expression. Since 2005, with a new direction, along with the regular work developed in the promotion of Iberian performing arts and aware of the profound changes in the cultural fabric of Porto, the Festival has reaffirmed itself as the privileged event for the diffusion of new contemporary trends in Iberian-speaking theater, expanding to other forms of artistic expression, such as contemporary dance or new circus.

Instituto Stocos

Instituto Stocos is a project focused on the research and development of the interaction between body movement, music and visual imagery, integrating in a performative context abstractions taken from other disciplines such as artificial intelligence, biology, mathematics or experimental psychology. Instituto Stocos is a dance and music company that has been characterized, since its inception in 2008, for developing original digital technologies as part of the process of creating its stage works.

Laboratoire Hubert Curien – Université Jean Monnet Saint Etienne

The Hubert Curien laboratory is a research unit of the Saint-Etienne University (France) with about 240 staff. The research activities are organized according to two scientific departments: Optics/photonics and Computer Science/Image. The members of this project are expert in computer vision mostly concentrating on colour, 3D and motion analysis in images. This partner is equipped with a computing cluster based on GPUs and an imaging and extended reality technology platform

Coliseu Porto Ageas

Coliseu Porto Ageas is a major historic building located in Porto, Portugal. Inaugurated on December 19, 1941, we welcome all artistic disciplines and a great diversity of audiences. An icon of Modernism, the building is listed by the Government as a Monument of Public Interest, and the classic-style decoration coexists with the most recent equipment and technologies, providing a unique environment for all artistic live events.

Coliseu Porto Ageas is made of different spaces. The “Sala Principal” has a seating capacity of 3,000 and a standing capacity of 4,000. The smaller “Salão Ático” has a capacity for 300 people. The more intimate “Salão Jardim” is ideal for smaller events, such as concerts, exhibitions, performances, meetings and presentations.

ICK Dans Amsterdam

ICK Dans Amsterdam is a platform for contemporary dance. Aligned with the vision of Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten, we make international dance performances (ICK-company and ICK-Next junior company), support young makers (ICK-artist space) and realize education and research in dance (ICK-academy). ICK is located in Space for Dance Art where performances, lectures, workshops and symposia are presented.
