The debate «Performing arts and heritage archiving: new technologies and collaborative strategies» will explore the intersection of performing arts, digital technologies and museum archiving. This event will take place in the framework of the International Museum Day/Night and FITEI Festival, which will be celebrated in May.
Experts from the museum sector as well as representatives of the PREMIERE project will share insights on how technological advancements can enhance access, interpretation, and preservation of museum heritage while fostering sustainable and ethical partnerships.
The PREMIERE project employs interdisciplinary practices across four areas: archives browsing, live performances, rehearsals and digitally enhanced creation.
The event invites museum and archive representatives, creators, performing arts professionals, and researchers in Portugal to join and engage in the discussion.
