PREMIERE Horizon Europe – Open Days in Amsterdam

Performing arts meet technology in Amsterdam during three Open Day events co-organised and hosted by the IDlab ATD Academy of Theatre and Dance & ICK Space for Dance Art

19-21 September 2023, Amsterdam

Premiere is a research and innovation Horizon Europe project that aims to modernise performing arts developing and validating a comprehensive ecosystem of digital applications, powered by leading edge AI, XR and 3D technologies. To do this, it brings together partners from art academies, performing art venues, research centres and the business sector, from six different European countries.

During the PREMIERE Open Days IDlab of the Academy of Theatre and Dance, and ICK Space for Dance Art will co-organise open meetings, a roundtable and a public discourse event with and for the local performing arts community and general audiences to present the project’s work in progress, engage with students, alumni and professionals and reflect together on the creative potentials and the ethical aspects of the relations between technology, the performing arts and intuitive embodied knowledge.
